"If scientists did not afford some respect to the beliefs of the lay public, there is little reason for the public to respect the pronouncements of science. All branches of science would suffer until such inexplicable paranormal happenings were seriously investigated and dealt with as constituting an essential portion of the phenomena of human nature."
Witches Castle - Portland, Oregon
_This structure is located in Mcleay Park in downtown Portland. There
have been many rumors there that a man from the 1800's was haunting the
place, that once used to be a trading post in the early 1800's. But
later on the site was wiped clean of all structures by the city of
Portland and in the early 1940's, a restroom was built on the site.
Rumors around the 1970's started up that cultist groups would visit the
site and do certain ceremonies. When we got the site, there was some
graffiti and candle wax that would back up those rumors, but nothing
more substantial. The funny thing about this investigation was that we
went in to talk to the spirit of a ghost that was wronged on the
property in the early 1800's. But what we came up with was a spirit of a
little girl named Nancy. In the pictures you will see the structure in
several photos. There is a picture of some railings with a mist in
front of it. That is Nancy. How do I know? Because at the same time
this picture was taken, we caught her telling us her name for the first
time on an EVP, which you can listen to on the EVP page. She then went
on to talk with us sporadically throughout the night and to appear in
mist form. At one point in time, she tried to play with the recorder in
my hand making only my right hand freezing cold. Which everyone on the
team felt both of my hands and testified to. This is a great place to
do an investigation and would like to return someday to talk further
with Nancy. CASE RESOLVED.
Bald Hill - Corvallis, Oregon
_We have done several investigations at this site. The first time going
up there, we encountered a few shadow people. There was also an
occurrence of major cold spots with the air almost thick in a contained
spot. We also encountered some yelling that was not likely to be in the
area. As well as movements in the brush and trees. A few pictures of
our investigations are show on the picture page. The EVP's that we
caught of the area will be uploaded soon. This investigation was done
in October and November of 2010. CASE RESOLVED.
Sankey Park - Sweethome, Oregon
_This is an interesting place to investigate. This investigation is
still an ongoing case for us. We experienced full manifestations that
walked right next to some of the investigators. As well as getting ecto
mists (included on the picture page), residual manifestations, and
intelligent manifestations of a young girl. We will keep you informed
of the investigation as we go along. Started investigation in December
of 2010. There
is a legend in this park that once a pre-teen girl fell and drowned in
the creek that runs through the park. After checking relentlessly with
law enforcement in Sweet Home, no records were found of any death of a
drowned young girl. We did find a legend of Jenny Green Teeth that may
apply here. It's of a ghost who haunts streams and rivers waiting for
the elderly or children to pass by so she can drag them under the water
to drown them. Greenteeth is a figure in English folklore, that is also
well known in pop culture. We found no evidence of any girl or
Greenteeth occupying the area and marked it up to a legend attached to
the area. Although we caught some "unexplainable" photos and EVP's, we
do not relate these to a girl in the creek. CASE RESOLVED
Brownsville Bar and Saloon - Brownsville, Oregon
_The Brownsville Saloon, now owned by Natalie Wade, has a rich history of
events; which includes fires, deception, betrayal, murder, and much
more! The establishment is a beautiful place with wonderful food.
Attached to the Saloon is the old Star Theatre (Opera House) that was
started in 1880 and has since changed hands to include the Linn Theatre
and a movie rental place. Now Natalie owns it along with the bar. We
had a blast investigating at the Saloon, and caught some very
interesting evidence. Please look at our Picture Page, EVP Page and our
Case Research page to get the whole story of the Brownsville Saloon.
Thank you again for a wonderful time Natalie and staff. We will be back
for those great burgers. CASE RESOLVED.
Montieth Park - Albany, Oregon
_There have been many stories from this park. From children missing in
the early 1900's, and supposedly dumped into the river, to the dead
Chinese migrant workers that used to work at the Wood Mills in the late
1800's who now walk the park. There have been some witnesses who claim
to have seen weird creatures in the park as well. When we arrived, it
was a clear and crisp night. There was no fog or heavy mists in the
air. Perfect night for picture taking. We went onto a wooden deck that
overlooks the river and then heard something big splash into the
water. We saw a "creature" we couldn't decide what it was, swimming at a
rapid pace. After taking a lot of pictures from the deck, we then went
down to the boat dock and experienced something heavy hitting the
water, as if it had dove into the water. The last splash was really
huge. The water rising from the splash went up about five feet into the
air. That would take something really big to make that big a splash.
You can check out the photo's we caught in the pictures page on this
site. Investigation was in December of 2010. CASE RESOLVED.
Studio 355 - Corvallis, Oregon
_Complaints from the clients were of full apparitions, footsteps,
electronics turning knobs by themselves and cold spots. During the
investigations we caught a lot of EMF readings, but decided it was
because of all the electrical outlets and machinery in the area. There
were also temperature fluctuations, but it was decided that it was
because of the spacings of the heat ducts and the open window areas. We
did however catch some pictures of an apparition and some footage on
film. Those will be added soon. This investigation was done in
November of 2010. CASE RESOLVED.
Scream at the Beach - Jantzen Beach Mall - 2011
Personal Residence - Albany, Oregon
_We were called to this residence because the owner complained that she
and her family was hearing some odd things. She also said that her son
was not comfortable sleeping in his room, and that he heard things. She
also said that she could hear things moving around in the garage,
shadows on the walls in her hallway, and a woman and dog seen in her
back yard, which is totally cut off from the public. We went into the
investigation mainly because there was a child involved in this case.
The two main areas we wanted to investigate was the garage and the
child's room. And with our EVP sessions we caught some interesting
sound bites. You'll have to check out the EVP section for those. Not
much in the way of photo's, but we are posting the child's room and
garage on how they look so you can get a mind's eye of what we were
investigating. We do have on picture of the garage door with a
reflection of a face in it, which is unexplainable. Solely because no
other picture taken like it has that reflection on the glass. The
camera was not aimed directly at the glass, but at a side angle, so
there should have been no glare. You will have to go to the Picture
section to check out those photos. From looking at all the evidence,
how would you determine what the woman is dealing with, haunted or just
paranormal occurrences? Update: We have just recently found out that
the family that had lived there prior was named Frame. Floydd and
Laverne Frame bought this house in 1965 and raised their three sons
here. Later, when the boys were raised, Floydd had a heart attack on
the front porch, this is who we think is in the EVP of this case.
Laverne later moved to a nursing home in Albany, where she passed away.
The boys all scattered throughout the country. CASE RESOLVED.

Personal Residence - Albany, Oregon
_We were asked to come to this residence because of a two year old boy in
the family was having a hard time sleeping in his room. He would wake
up screaming and crying. They thought that something paranormal was
happening. Once arriving at the residence we noticed that everything
seemed alright on the surface, and when we did the investigation,
nothing major stuck out with us. Until I got the evidence home and
started to go through it. We have come upon some first with our EVP's
for this group, and with pictures. There is no real history that we
could find at this house that would indicate anything paranormal
happening, but we caught a ton of evidence there. We have instructed
the mother of the two year old on how to handle the situation, and she
seemed content with that. You'll want to check out our EVP and Picture
section to see the evidence on this investigation! It was reported that
the next night the little boy had no problems sleeping and the family
has had no further occurrences since the investigation, we will stay in
contact with them to further assist them. CASE STILL PENDING.
Knox Butte Cemetery - Albany, Oregon
_This was a random practice investigation for three of the members in the
group. When we approached the cemetery, we noticed that there was a
lot of activity. We could see shadows moving around and movements
otherwise that could not be explained. Once we were in the cemetery we
caught a lot of EVP's. Some saying names, such as Mary and Earl, which
we confirmed by headstones and later doing research. We also caught
some apparitions (you can view these on the picture page) as well as
some orbs that manifest into apparitions. We will keep this as an
ongoing case, whereas we use the site for practice sessions when we get
new equipment and new members. CASE RESOLVED.
Personal Residence - Albany, Oregon
_What the client was reporting here was very mischievous. The client
gave examples of glass flying out of picture frames, glass jars that
shattered in his hands, growls from nowhere, shadows that runs through
the rooms, furniture being kicked, hats being lifted and footsteps that
were heard running through the clients place. During the investigations
we caught orbal anomalies, some voices on the EVP sessions, and some
personal experiences. During the investigation the client told the
entity to leave his home, whereas the entity said: "You won't like
that." Pictures of the investigation are found under the pictures tab.
This investigation was done in October of 2010. The place has been
smudged/cleaned and the tenant no longer experiences problems. CASE RESOLVED
Spouting Horn - Depot Bay, Oregon
_One of the oldest businesses still operating in Depoe Bay today. Built
in 1934 by Clyde Crawford, it was originally a single story building.
Prior to construction of the Spouting Horn the Bridge Lunch Restaurant
was located near the Depoe Bay Bridge on the highway. It was moved back
to accommodate the Spouting Horn. Paul Taunten bought the Spouting
Horn from Crawford in 1944 and used the old Bridge Lunch Restaurant as a
cottage until it burned down. A second story was added to the Spouting
Horn in 1936 with the restaurant downstairs and a hotel upstairs. Also
in 1963 a lumber barge sank and its cargo of redwood washed ashore.
Much of the redwood was used as siding inside the restaurant. There
have been later additions to the restaurant. The upstairs was used for a
time for the Coast Guard during World War II, where they patrolled the
beach with dogs. Over 30 to 40 Coast Guard men stayed in the second
floor, using them as barracks. After the war ended, the Spouting Horn
resumed being a restaurant and the upstairs became a dining hall. Paul
Taunten was the original member who had the restaurant. He gave it to
his son, Vaun, on his 21st birthday. Vaun passed away in 1995, leaving
the business to his wife Betty. Who by the way, has the most incredible
pies in the world. Her crust is so flaky and the pie just melts in
your mouth. Phil and his wife, Renee, also work at the restaurant. We
had the pleasure of dining there. The portions are huge and incredibly
tasty, and the customer service was extremely nice. I, personally, have
dined in some top notch restaurants. From Chicago to New Orleans, and
have never experienced the friendly customer service or tasty food like
the Spouting Horn has. A few paranormal groups have visited the
Spouting Horn; I'll let you do your own homework, but the evidence was
very questionable. We will be investigating the restaurant from the
bottom up and will decide for ourselves if there is paranormal activity
there. CASE RESOLVED.
Nehalim Bay - Nehalim, Oregon
_This is one of the few rocks even close to piling up that we found. There have been reports that there are rocks that are piled up overnight for no reason what-so-ever. As our team went to the location and read over the geological reports of the area, we quickly found out that with strong tides from the water (as well as water craft), a fault line running right through the area, and with the area being on a natural Ley Line, that there was a great reason why the rocks line up or pile up. Further evidence showed that driftwood also got brought up on shore in lines and piles from the natural conditions of the area. We posted a picture of the rocks in a pile. However, this case is caused by natural circumstances and nothing paranormal. CASE RESOLVED.
Odell Cemetery - Dayton, Oregon
_In Dayton, OR, lies the Ebenezer Chapel, and Ebenezer cemetery. The
county has now converted them to public parks - an odd thing to do
considering its history. Ebenezer was one of the pioneers of the area,
and of Dayton itself. Early in the 1800's, he took part in founding the
city. The graveyard was abandoned by the mid 1960's .There have been
reports of spirits wondering the grounds and in and out of the chapel,
some have even claimed to have seen a orange glow coming from inside the
chapel, and even claims of the chapel bell ringing on occasion. Local
folklore say a witch was burned in the chapel yard but we have found
nothing to back up that claim at all. There is also rumor of a hit and
run where a man died outside the chapel yard, there is a cross just
outside the cemetery along the road. One of our Researchers spoke with a
local young man who grew up in Dayton and he said, “Oh yeah, everyone
knows that place is strange. I refuse to go there.” he said. He also
went on to tell our Researcher that a few of his friends had gone in
there and both claim to have been scratched on the arm or back. Also
they claim to have heard the bell ring. Also, Asa Collins, the young
man our Researcher spoke with told us that he has heard the bell ring
himself from a distance. CASE RESOLVED.
